Abstract:
My core criticism of Boucher and Sharpe’s depiction of Howard’s conservatism was that it portrayed it as substantially new, and hence deserving the term ‘postmodern’, by ignoring some of the practices and arguments of historical conservatism that Howard’s program – and US neo-conservatism – draws on.
