Recently we here at Arena have had our switchboard jammed with a flood of calls from concerned parents seeking advice on their children's career plans. It seems that some kids are still harbouring unrealistic expectations about their role in the future labour market, and many parents are having to find sensitive ways to disabuse children of their fantasies.
