In 'Arena Magazine' no. 99 John Hinkson raised the fundamental question of how climate change relates to social assumptions - those that that we feel but barely know. I agree that this is central. If we do not understand the assumptions, the values that underlie our systems of technology, we are in no position to act effectively. I approach the debate about geo-engineering from within this context.
