Anew hotel will need to be opened in Australia every week until the year 2000 to cope with the projected demand for tourist accommodation. At a time when startling things are said so often that it is hard to be startled any more, the tourism lobby has certainly produced the goods in the hyperbole stakes. But is the tourism push a case of glossy brochure logic?
