Self-praise is no recommendation, so when ABC television personality Tony Jones last year described ABC Lateline's 2006 coverage of sexual violence in remote NT Aboriginal communities - reportage which led directly to the NT Intervention - as among the best he'd ever seen, I was a little underwhelmed.
