Abstract:

It is a warm Saturday afternoon and the St Kilda foreshore is alive with families out to enjoy the beach or a promenade. Just up from the old art deco baths, a large carpark and the kitsch Luna Park is the Palace nightclub. Normally the club is quiet during the day, but this afternoon over eight hundred affectionados of muscle are packed in to watch the best bodybuilders compete.
