Abstract:
The need to launch micro-level self-organized autonomous or free universities and classes in Australia to counter the increasingly capitalistic nature of Australian universities is emphasized. The functioning of some such small, student-run initiatives in Europe is discussed, analyzing how they can be effectively adapted to the Australian educational system.
