Abstract:
On 19 July this Year, the Australian reported that the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Robert Tickner, had defended himself against remarks by the Victorian Premier, Jeff Kennett, by saying: T have been the one who has been in step with the middle ground, it has been Mr Kennett and (Western Australian Premier) Mr Court who have been the terrible twins’. But is there a middle ground in the current debate about indigenous land rights?
