Abstract:
The army rolled into remote Northern Territory communities in the 2006-07 series of what Marcia Langton has dubbed the media’s ‘perpetual Aboriginal reality show’. In this politically scripted episode, Indigenous children’s sexual health and safety were dramatised by the news media and declared a national emergency by the Howard government.
