Abstract:
The juxtaposition almost choked me like an over-sucked noodle. I’d caught a glimpse of a familiar face staring up at me from an open magazine on a food stall in Bangkok. Mayor Doyle’s image seemed surreal and out of place, as were his words that waxed lyrical about Melbourne’s food culture.
