Author Biography: Susan Hawthorne is the author of eighteen books published internationally and translated into eight languages. She is a poet, political commentator and publisher who writes about war, globalisation, ecology, rape, torture and feminist theory. Her most recent book is Lesbian: Politics, Culture, Existence (Mission Beach: Spinifex, 2024).
