Author Biography: Marty Ross is an American who grew up in Melbourne. After attending Macleod High School and completing an undergraduate degree at ANU, Marty did a PhD in mathematics at Stanford University. He returned to work at various Australian universities. Together with Burkard Polster, he has written three popular maths books: Math Goes to the Movies, A Dingo Ate My Math Book and Putting Two and Two Together.
