Author Biography: Lesley Howard has a keen interest in supporting sound environmental social practice and communities and democracy in action. She has a Masters of Science, Applied Statistics, and participates in the Voices for Australia project. Although Melbourne-based, Lesley and her family have had a relationship with Indi for over twenty years. she has written about the community group Voices for Indi citizen engagement and participatory democracy.
